Due to a period of expansion at our popular “Gledowls Before & Afterschool club,” we are delighted to be recruiting an experienced manager, to lead the day-to-day running of our Out of school club and to launch our holiday club.


What you’ll bring:

• A solid foundation and knowledge of child development

• Experience of working with SEN children

• Innovative and creative planning for all age groups

• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures

• Strong leaderships skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team

• Excellent organisation and admin skills

• Food Hygiene and Paediatric First Aid are desirable



You’ll be great at:

• Building and growing warm, positive relationships

• Staying calm under pressure

• Communicating professionally with parents, staff, and children

• Collaborating effectively with senior leaders as part of a supportive team

• Applying effective behaviour management strategies

 

You’ll be expected to:

• Champion safeguarding and pupil, staff, wellbeing

• Plan and deliver inspiring activities.

• Manage staffing levels and maintain ratios.

• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and professionals.

• Create a positive team culture, supporting staff development and training.

• Assist with the administration required to run the club effectively.

• Drive continuous improvement and high-quality provision.

• *Cover both Before and After School Clubs, and Holiday Club (actual shift pattern TBC).
