All classes throughout school are named after the colours of the rainbow. Our Year 4 classes are Azure, Cobalt and Sapphire.

Class Routines
Year 4 have a 15-minute morning break at 10:20. They eat their lunch at 12:00pm –12:30pm and play outside from 12:30pm –1:00pm.
Collection
The Year 4 gate entrance is located on Lidgett Lane. Gates open at 8:30am and close promptly at 8:40am. If there are any changes to pick up arrangements, please inform the school office. Dojo messages will be checked periodically during the school day, staff are unable to respond to messages outside of school hours.
Curriculum Enrichment
We enhance the curriculum in Year 4 with different experiences throughout the year.
Year 4 children will be taking part in a skipping workshop, a religious visit to local place of worship and a Roman workshop delivered at school by Murton Park.
- This year group also get to experience an overnight residential in beautiful Malham where they will be walking, treasure hunting and discovering waterfalls.
P.E
Azure class P.E. days are Tuesday (indoor) and Wednesday (indoor).
Cobalt class P.E. days are Tuesday (indoor) and Thursday (outdoor).
Sapphire class P.E. days are Thursday (indoor) and Friday (outdoor).
Please send your child to school in their PE kit-they do not need to bring a change of uniform with them.
Homework
Children will be set activities to complete on Mathletics on a Monday to be completed by the following Monday. These will be linked to our current maths topic.
Throughout the year, children may be asked to complete other activities at home e.g. learning lines for a performance and bringing in recycling for curriculum projects. These will be communicated via the Class Dojo page.
