Award winning Gledhow Primary is situated in the North of Leeds on Lidgett Lane, LS8. We are a school where children learn in a happy, caring and secure environment.
Everyone is encouraged and challenged to aim for the best that they can achieve in all that they do.
Our school develops independence in learning and values this equally alongside academic achievement in all areas of the curriculum.
Gledhow offers very high educational standards, an excellent enriched curriculum and an environment rich in the sports and arts.
The School has recently become aware of some local concern about fencing our 'triangle of land' as part of the proposed expansion to three form entry (3FE).
To find out what the plans actually are and the reasons why this is essential for Gledhow School to expand successfully please follow this link to our letters page to read the facts as presented by our chair of governors, Dr John Willott.
'I feel truly privileged to have been there witnessing the encapsulation of a remarkable cohort of young people, flourishing and pushing the boundaries of their capabilities'
